Smokebusters are members of an exclusive club for young people
who have chosen to reject smoking and promote health. There
are "Smokebusters" all over the world. The campaign
is organised in Northern Ireland by the Ulster Cancer Foundation.
Campaign Aims
- "Smokebusters"
is not a campaign against smokers. It is a campaign against
smoking and its health effects.
- Increasing
their defences against pressures to experiment with cigarettes.
- Providing
information directly to young people about the harmful consequences

- Involving
young people in fun activities to create a "Smoke free"
