Progress in our understanding of the cancers in recent years
has meant that many more people now have successful treatment
following diagnosis. This means a substantial number of the
8,700 new cases in the province each year need support, practical
help and advice to cope with the implications of having cancer,
as do their families.
The Ulster Cancer Foundation has a dedicated team who offer
